100+1 in Genoa: big charity event in the name of Giorgio Parodi.
From the 13th to the 15th of May 2022, Genoa celebrates the foundation of S. A. Moto Guzzi, with a big event. Three days where Associazione Giorgio Parodi, Moto Guzzi Club Genova, AMGGe and many others are going to set up a wide program of events in different parts of the city, all aimed at raising funds for the institute Giannina Gaslini.
During the three days the municipality of Genoa opens to visit the “Palazzi dei Rolli”, historical buildings all around the city, (www.visitgenoa.it/rolli). On the Associazione GP website you will find all the informations.
Friday, May 13th 2022
From 10 AM to 11 PM, near the statue of Giorgio Parodi, the authorities and CIV Carignano will put together Genoese products, street food and stands. AMGGe will welcome the bikers. Vintage motorcycles will be displayed. During the day the engine of the famous “8 cilindri” will be set in motion, this motorbike will be also displayed in “Palazzo Tursi”, with a “Dondolino 500” and a “Gambalunghino 250”.
From 1 PM at Porto Antico Moto Guzzi Club Genova will greet all the guests of Mondo Moto Guzzi 2022 – Le Ali del Mito.
From 3 PM in Piazza De Ferrari ASI federated will show 100 “old ladies” (100 vintage bikes).
In the late afternoon vintage motorcycles will parade through the city, they will be escorted by ZenaGirls.
Saturday, May 14th 2022
From 10 AM, at the “Porto Antico”, Mondo Moto Guzzi will start a manifestation promoted by Moto Guzzi World Club, and carried out by Moto Guzzi Club Genova. Under the tensile structure there will be a lot of stands such as “Aquile in viaggio” (Traveling Eagles), “Aquile in pista” (Eagles on the track), “Aquile Special” (Custom Eagles) and many more.
The “old ladies” will start the tour at Giannina Gaslini institute, they will stop in Recco, greeted by the municipality with the famous “focaccia al formaggio” (A cheese-based local speciality) and Santa Margherita, where you can find a ultralight seaplane, with small tours organized by Scuola di Ultraleggeri “Voli di Mare” (info@volidimare.it), and then a final stop in Portofino, where there will be a show by the king of Pesto, Roberto Panizza, with a glass of wine. Guests will return on their own.
From 11 AM, at Porto Antico, in Mondo Moto Guzzi, there will be the presentation of the book “Seguendo l’aquila. Itinerari alla scoperta di Giorgio Parodi”, written by Associazione TeA – Turismo e Ambiente.
From 10:30 AM, in Piazza Matteotti, AMGGe will exhibit twenty vintage bikes, then from 4 PM there will be a show about the history of Guzzi motorcycles.
From 1 PM “Aquile in mare” (Eagles in the sea), a tour with a boat to see the east coast of Genoa, a discount will be applied for the guests of Mondo Moto Guzzi.
At 4 PM the “Aquile in città” (Eagles in the city) parade will start, 100+1 guests of Mondo Moto Guzzi will attend the tour organized by Moto Guzzi Club Genova.
At 6 PM the “Azimut Raid”, organized by Moto Guzzi World Club, will arrive at Porto Antico. Moto Guzzi Club Genova will welcome inside Mondo Moto Guzzi the travellers.
Entertainment, guest award ceremony and regards will follow.
From 8 PM, “Cena delle Aquile” (Eagles dinner) in the locals of Porto Antico with a discount for the guests of Mondo Moto Guzzi and GPDays.
At 8:30 PM, Gala dinner in the Museo Diocesano, organized by UNUCI and Innerwheel Sud-Ovest. The proceeds will be donated to the Giannina Gaslini Institute. During the dinner there will be an exhibition of pesto makers organized by Associazione Palatifini and a historical dance show (from the 19th century to the 1920s) made by Compagnia Italiana di Teatro e Danza.

Continuation of Mondo Moto Guzzi in the Porto Antico area.
At 10:30 AM AMGGe will start the 8 cylinder engine, with other vintage motorcycles, there will also be the stand of Farmotor the official dealer in Genova.
From 11 AM, inside Mondo Moto Guzzi, there will be entertainment and interviews.
At 12 PM the award ceremony of the airbrushing contest “Aquile spray”.
From 1 PM “Aquile in mare” (Eagles in the sea), a tour with a boat to see the east coast of Genoa, a discount will be applied for the guests of Mondo Moto Guzzi.
From 5 PM, in Corso Italia, Air Show of Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale by Aeronautica Militare. The famous Frecce Tricolori will attend a show. Aeronautica Militare will be at their stand during all three days.
At 7 PM Mondo Moto Guzzi will close.
The president of Associazione GP, Elena Bagnasco, niece of Giorgio Parodi, encourages to donate in favour of Giannina Gaslini Institute, you can find all the informations on www.giorgioparodi.it, in section “Partecipare”. After the donation you will receive an exclusive patch “GP Days per i cento anni”, and a series of discounts all around the city. You can receive the patch showing the receipt at one of the help desks, or you can ask for a delivery at home or at the hotel.
The subscriptions to Mondo Moto Guzzi are managed by Moto Guzzi Club Genova (www.motoguzziclubgenova.it), you can find every information on their website, the proceeds net of expenses will be donated to the Giannina Gaslini pediatric hospital.
The guests of Mondo Moto Guzzi will receive the traditional T-shirt, a Mondo Moto Guzzi patch and other gadgets. The event area is delimited and everyone can enter it, but for organization and management reasons GP Days donors and Mondo Moto Guzzi guests will have the priority. To join the “Aquile in città” parade you have to buy a different ticket.
